A plated-steel 1/4-inch quick-connect plug with a female pipe-thread (FNPT) end for threading onto male-threaded fittings. Like all QC plugs it is the male nipple half of the set: it slides into the socket, the locking balls engage its groove, and the sleeve locks the connection for fast, tool-free accessory changes. The zinc/chromium plating protects the carbon steel body against corrosion, and steel's hardness resists the wear of repeated coupling cycles. Listed as SKU 2192.
