BACKUP RING AS568A-114 SPLIT TEFLON

SKU 2806 is a single split (spiral-cut) PTFE backup ring sized for an AS568-114 O-ring gland: 0.640 in. ID, 0.086 in. radial cross-section, and 0.053 in. thick, made from virgin PTFE (55 Shore D). Backup rings sit beside the elastomeric O-ring and resist extrusion under high pressure, allowing higher working pressures in the same gland. The split cut allows installation without disassembling the components it protects. Note: this is a single part, not a repair kit.
