QC PLUG 1/4" MPT BRASS

A quick-connect plug is the male half of a quick-connect set — also called a nipple — that inserts into the female socket so the socket's locking balls engage the plug's groove; retracting the socket's spring-loaded sleeve connects or releases it. This 1/4-inch version has a male pipe-thread (MPT) end that threads onto the equipment and a standard QC profile that mates with 1/4-inch sockets, so hoses, guns, lances, and nozzles can be swapped without re-threading. Brass balances cost with good corrosion resistance in water service. Listed as SKU 3285.
